Our Team

Dr. John Mady, DDS, MS, FAGD

My goal is to be compassionate and to give patients control over choosing from the best viable treatment options. I also want patients to proceed at a pace that is comfortable for them. I make every effort to listen to patients’ concerns, answer their questions, and see if they’ve had any bad experiences in the past so that we can have the best chance of having positive outcomes moving forward. I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful team to help me in fulfilling this mission.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercise and sports, especially basketball! I have a lovely wife and son named Brayden!

Ambar – Dental Assistant

I was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the U.S.A. when I was eight years old. I am currently living in Passaic. I am a recent school graduate, and CPR-certified, and I have my dental x-ray license. I am currently studying to become a CDA and RDA. I love working at Mady Dental because we have a great team and our patients are awesome. I also love working here because I am learning a lot and we use the latest technology. I chose to become a Dental Assistant because it offers many opportunities to work with people. I love cosmetic dentistry the most because it improves the patient’s appearance and self-confidence; I find it very rewarding.

I love to go out to restaurants and enjoy trying different foods. In my free time I enjoy going to the spa. I come from a large family. I am the oldest of my three other siblings, and we love spending time together. We celebrate all the holidays together and love to cook.

Heather – Dental Assistant

I have a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of South Florida. I worked as a Dental Assistant in Florida before moving to New Jersey. What I like about dentistry is being able to help people and make them feel comfortable. I also like how the field is constantly changing for the better. I feel blessed to work at Mady Dental because our work environment is comfortable and fun!

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking with my fiancé, reading, watching movies or FaceTiming with my family when I’m homesick. I would like to explore New Jersey more since I moved here not too long ago!

Justin – Dental Assistant

My passion for dentistry arose from being a patient first. Ensuring the utmost care is provided to make your experience at Mady Dental comfortable and fluid is what motivates me! I love seeing the relief and satisfaction on a patient’s face after they’ve been treated at Mady Dental. I feel part of a synergistic team that thrives on our ability to communicate and deliver the treatment you deserve.

When I’m not at the office, I’m most likely walking my dog, Bella, or riding my bicycle, but never simultaneously for fear of falling off my bike while Bella chases a squirrel! I also love to cook or order takeout because it’s less of a mess!

Lucia – Hygienist

Hi, my name is Lucia! I have practiced dental hygiene for over 14 years. I have my CPR, OSHA, Local Anesthesia, and Infection Control certification. I love dentistry because I enjoy working with patients. I have the ability to educate them on how to maintain a healthy mouth. A patient’s trust and oral health are my top priorities.

I love Mady Dental! The team and the patients are amazing. The doctor is very thorough, very smart, and is always trying to improve by making himself knowledgable about dentistry.

When I am not in the office, you can find my painting, watching softball games, going to restaurants, and enjoying different foods with my husband and children.
